Why accessibility
An accessible site means more customers
The European Accessibility Act (EAA) has applied since 28 June 2025, and accessibility is gradually becoming the standard for e-shops, banks, transport providers and other online services in the EU.
But an accessible site isn't just about rules — it opens your site to people with visual, hearing or motor disabilities, who make up a significant part of the market. And better accessibility usually means better usability for everyone else too.

FAQ
What you might want to know
What accessibility issues do you find?
We check your site against the WCAG 2.1 AA standard using axe-core — missing alt text, low contrast, unlabeled form fields, missing button labels, heading structure problems and dozens of other rules. Automated tests don't catch absolutely everything, though — they cover a large share of common issues, not 100% of WCAG requirements. Fixitto gives you a quick first overview and priorities; some things (like whether alt text makes sense in context) still need a human check.
How many pages do you scan?
It depends on your plan — 5 pages on Free, 10 on Starter and 15 on Pro. We first look for sitemap.xml, and if it's missing, we crawl internal links from the homepage. We always scan the root URL first.
What exactly is WCAG 2.1 AA?
An international standard for web accessibility. Level AA is the one most often required by legislation, including the European EAA. It defines how a site should work for people with various disabilities.
Does it work on logged-in pages?
Not yet. The scanner doesn't know login credentials, so it only tests publicly accessible pages. Scanning behind a login is on the feature list for future versions.
Who fixes the issues?
You or your team. Fixitto isn't a (we'll fix it for you) service — we give you precise instructions and assign every task a role (developer, designer, copywriter) so you know who should tackle what.
